Okay, I hate going to the dentist. Seriously, this happened a couple of times ago, but when you go in to get a filling, most of the time, depending on how far they have to drill, they numb you. Well apparently my mouth has some issues because when they gave me the huge shot, they hit a nerve in my mouth! >< Which meant I couldn't move my jaw at all, so they had to shove a Styrofoam block in my mouth to keep it open. It's fine if it happens once, but twice!? Come on... So I can't move my mouth until the numbing stuff wears off... But seriously... WTF!?

AND THE YANKEES WON!!

Also, I really have been mucking around, not sewing, but that will change! Call it a seamstress block. I have something planned, and ironically, it's not for me! I'm making a costume for someone, and if they will let me I will post pictures of them of the finished project. If not, I'll just throw the costume on my dress-form.

.... my mouth hurts so much!

Back from Geek Kon! Yes, I know it was last week and this is a belated journal entry, but the World Series has kept me on edge. Anyone else a Yankees fan?? Well they are up 2-1, which is a good thing since they are playing the next two games in Philly. ANYWAYS! I won't bore you with baseball ranting.

Geek Kon was a ton of fun. Got to meet lots of people, and got to watch win best skit at the Masquerade. Congrats!!

I wore Orihime on Friday and Zelda all day Saturday. I brought Vanille, but for those not living in the northern part of the midwest, it was cold. Even in the hotel it was fairly chilly, so I just didn't wear it. If I don't go to another convention before ACen, Vanille probably won't get wore until then. Which is a shame, I really love that costume.

Well, that being said, I'm slowly working on Nia from Gurren Lagann. I'll get some WIP shots soon. I'm also touching up Zelda so that I can get good shots in. That's all I have so far. As for future cosplays, I'm still not sure what I'm planning, but I'll let you know when I have decided.
