Costume: FemSpock and FemKirk - Star Trek: Into Darkness
100% Handmade!
Well, way back when Star Trek: Into Darkness came out,
's Vanessa and I decided that we wanted to be Kirk and Spock. Genderbend of course. So we decided to wear these at Convergence! A lovely little con in Minneapolis. We made these the DAY BEFORE. In like, 4 hours. XD We ran to JoAnn's that night and manage to buy everything we needed in 20 minutes, because the store was closing. Luckily we found everything we needed to get these done.
My Spock costume consists of the dress, which was drafted by myself, the belt to hold the phaser, drafted by Vanessa, and a wig that I was lucky enough to borrow! And the ears I got from Aradanicostumes.com. Great place for elf ears and stuff. And the Insignia Pins we were going to get the official licensed ones, but they were all sold out! So Vanessa made them from sculpy. All in all, these were cheap, comfy costumes for a fun day!
